Some time ago, the WordPress launched Gutenberg, the new WordPress editor, available for sites that updated the platform to version 5 at the end of 2019.
Technically, it was a strategy to bring a more modern and attractive design to the WordPress edition, similar to Medium and the Twitter site.
The new functionality is block editing, with specific focus on each part at a time, which helps to avoid distractions in the configuration of posts.
Furthermore, the editor allows you to directly view changes on the website, as if they were already being published at the time of writing. With this, Gutenberg seeks to make text development easier and more direct.
However, the new feature caused some resistance in some users, precisely because of problems associated with it. One of them is the fact that it is a very new version, just released, which has several inconsistencies and bugs.
In other words, because it is new, it is a version that lacks certain stability and may present difficulties in everyday writing.
As shown in the video above, just go to the Plugins section and click “Add New”. Search for “Classic Editor”, then click “Install Now”. Then activate the plugin and you're done! The magic will happen!
