How to clear Safari cache on macOS? For users of Apple devices, the default internet browser is Safari, which in turn stores various data and certain information from the most visited websites and pages in order to facilitate the user's navigation on the internet as a whole.
However, this feature can make sensitive data and access data to sites such as logins and passwords, profiles and registrations, exposed to hacker attacks, or even unnecessary caching of data, taking up considerable space on your SSD, for example.
So clearing your Safari browser cache is an excellent way to keep your computer. Check out how to perform this very simple procedure in full!
Let’s start with the steps to follow… 🙂
Step 1: When you have the Safari browser open, click on the “Safari” option, located at the top of the screen – upper left corner (next to the Apple logo). Next, access the “Preferences” option;
Step 2: In the “Advanced” tab, select the option “Show Developer Menu in the menu bar” below the “Proxies” section;
Step 3: Now in the menu bar, select the option “Developer” and finally “Empty Cache” – or “Empty Caches” in English (yes, I use my computer in English).
After selecting this option, the process may take a few seconds to clear Safari's cache. Furthermore, after enabling the Developer Menu, the Clear Cache function in Safari on Mac will be available to be accessed at any time, including using keyboard shortcuts Command+Option+E.
