Initially appearing in animation Madagascar (2005), the four hallucinated penguins full of mysterious plans and last-minute solutions are back! However, the new movie “The Penguins of Madagascar” makes it clear that the characters are still great, even after 10 years. The movie “The Penguins of Madagascar” brings together everything that is good in the characters for the movie screen. Check out the final result in my special review for you!
Directed by the traditional Eric Darnell (also responsible for Madagascar) and for Simon J. Smith, the Penguins of Madagascar reveals, from the beginning, a fundamental problem (yes!): Captain, Rico, Recruit and Kovalski, all of which are great at fast-moving, but breathless for plots a little more developed.
This is even clearer thanks to the script's very “focused” structure, consisting of a very wide range of fun and extra interventions, which are linked to the penguins. However, the film's makers added as many equally charismatic supporting casts as possible, regardless of whether they were enemies or not.
In a nutshell: A scientist decides he wants to conquer the world and, for that, he needs to eliminate our penguins once and for all. The argument, used to entertain the audience, is classic. However, this title is quite funny, because as we discovered at the beginning, they are from Antarctica, and then went to New York City, having passed quickly through Madagascar.
Even smaller, the group of penguins is formed and the whole team goes in search of emotions around the world. However, what they had not realized is that their extreme cuteness was a reason for envy of other animals. As a result, even the animals at the Zoo did not arouse interest in the octopus (Dave). This made his thirst for revenge soar. That way, your revenge will end when you transform all the penguins around the globe into terrifying and terrifying beasts.
With the huge presence of the penguins, it was already quite fun and funny. However, it adds, however, another team considered elite, the North Wind, composed of a polar bear, a fox, a white owl and a seal. And between moments of mutual cooperation and extreme competition, the two teams will have to decide how to overcome the threat, while each team member will have to find their true place and the real value of their actions.
In any case, The Penguins of Madagascar is a busy and dynamic film – the chase through the streets of Venice (Venice), for example, is incredible (even without the North Wind gang). The film comes with the purpose of bringing fun, action and adventure to people of all ages and, the first impression we have is that this aspect was very well explored by the DreamWorks Animation, making the film balanced (no exaggerations) and, at the same time, fun.
The Penguins of Madagascar, in turn, had a very well-crafted production in several aspects. To get a sense of perspective, the film has grossed more than double its initial budget of US$ 132 million worldwide. As such, it is very likely that we will have more works in the same style very soon, which is, in fact, excellent work by DreamWorks.
