How to solve the problem of macOS taking up more than 50% by the system?

I recently had a problem with my MacBook Pro: the operating system itself was taking up more than 50% of all SSD from my laptop. Due to this problem, I searched the internet for the potential solution to this bizarre problem. With that in mind, I prepared this article for people who use the MacBook and iMac in their daily lives, but who are having difficulties in using them due to lack of space in the Mac hard drive. Check and share!

In most cases, the problem is directly related to hidden files, which are practically impossible to view without using a specific application to solve the problem. For that reason, I will be showing a software that I used and that solved my problem. The application in question is OmniDisk Sweeper, with a very intuitive and straight-to-the-point interface, as you can see below:

It is important to note that to have access to certain folders and files in general, it is necessary to grant access as an administrator to the application. To download the software for free, Click here. Please note that this article is not sponsored.

And you, what did you think of this tip for macOS users? 🙂
