Another special review! Let's go… Horizon Zero Dawn is an adventure game exclusively for PS4. The game has incredible graphics, a gigantic open map and an attention-grabbing storyline, the title stands out as one of the best options for Sony's console and is now also available for PC. In practice, the game takes place in a very distant future where Planet Earth now lives under the rule of a kind of “robotic Jurassic creatures”. In the game, you take control of Aloy, a young woman who, as a child, was abandoned by her parents and ended up being raised by exiles from the Nora tribe.
Throughout the game, you embark on a journey that tells the story of the character, from the mysteries surrounding her birth, to her evolution as a warrior. In between, there are a series of twists that make the script incredibly engaging.
In my experience, Horizon Zero Dawn stands out as one of the most graphically enchanting games of this current generation. The great production made by the producer Guerrilla Games manages to immerse the player in a way never seen before, both in its various animations and in the gameplay. The scenarios are impressive due to the richness of details.
Another thing I need to detail is the vegetation and the relief of the game have characteristics of each region of the map. In other words, in colder environments there is a certain type of species, while in warmer parts it is quite different.
With the characters, the excellent work was maintained. Both in the animations, which can express the feeling of the scenes, and in the game going on, with details such as tattoos, scars, clothes, among others. Creatures also have special care. It is easy to differentiate each one by its characteristics, size and movement.
Regarding the main characters, I can say that special care was taken with intonation and even the placement of the dialogues. Already in the supporting actors, it is possible to notice a lack of care, whether to express the feelings that the scene requires, or when fitting a line into the movement of the animation.
