A very popular and internationally recognized game, Fortnite it's free, with tons of rewards and incentives to spend real money. The game has become one of the biggest phenomena of games and one of the most played games today. With more than 10 million connected players simultaneously, Epic Games managed to create a gold mine, definitely… 😮 Check out my full review and find out what the positives and negatives of the game are! 🙂
Exactly in the year 2017, Epic Games released the battle royale for free and for several platforms, using the season system with cosmetic items that become permanent after a while. Its main competitor, PUBG Corporation, during that same period he tried something similar to compete and remain in the lead, but until today in 2020 he has not been so successful in practice. Another interesting curiosity is that the colorful look of Fortnite makes you want to keep playing and buy items.
You might even wonder how this Battle Royale modality became popular, right? Well then, with PUBG this mode became very famous around the world, where we have a giant map and 100 people fall into it, with the player choosing a specific spot where they want it. It's quite an interesting and extremely fun mode, especially when playing with your friends or even random people.
The goal is to survive: whoever stays alive until the end wins the match, but to make the whole process even more insane, you'll have a storm that over time starts to cover the map, reducing the safe area and forcing players to move to a place that will be defined randomly (randomly), and then it is repeated, making the delimited area again. It gets a little repetitive over time, but ok. 😛

This modality prevents the matches from going on forever if someone for some reason wanted to stay hidden indefinitely in some obscure corner of the map, since you take damage if you are inside the storm until you die. For comparison purposes, both PUBG and Fortnite use the same system, have vehicles and weapon systems that are quite diverse. The biggest advantage of Fortnite is that, once you get the basics of the game, it manages to be more accessible in general.
Now let's talk about Fortnite's building system, I can conclude after several and several matches one thing: if you master this feature, you will have more advantages in matches, but if you don't, it will be much more complicated. It may take some time for you to get better results. In practice, you also have several options for objects and can build an entire huge fortress in seconds, to make life difficult for the opponent, who will have to try to destroy or compete with you for final elimination.
With several ramps, traps and walls, you have several options at your disposal, but for those who are starting to play it will be a little more complicated, especially being able to move around in the menus and choose the right options for you at certain times. Still, it's relatively easy to get lost because you choose an option and maybe rotate it to make a ramp to go up or down a huge hill on the map or even try to escape from an enemy nearby or further away.
In addition to all this, Fortnite has several tasks that gradually increase your Battle Pass and unlock the appropriate rewards, and that encourage the player to carry out activities around the map depending on the season in question. There are tasks such as: collecting chests at specific points, landing at specific locations, visiting 5 pre-established points, dancing under streetlights and basic elimination challenges with specific weapons, being among the first, etc.
An excellent recommendation and that is much more interesting is when you have friends in Fortnite, making the games much more fun (you can chat in the game's internal chat or in a chat room - party) or go to the game modes events that appear from time to time when at specific times. In addition to them counting towards you fulfilling the Battle Pass objectives, some events have respawning. It's pretty cool! By the way, do you want to see some funny moments I had? Conclusion
Without a doubt, Fortnite today has one of the best Battle Royales today and, as it is a free game, it ends up being interesting to check it out. However, at certain times the game can let you down if you don't have as many gameplay and construction skills in Fortnite, but it's a learning curve that with a few hours or days you can already improve your strategies and interactions with Fortnite.
Even so, again because the game is free and available on several platforms with the possibility of playing with friends from other platforms, it ends up making it easier for most players to take a look and test the Epic Games game without commitment, and if they like it from the experience offered he can buy the Battle Pass – or Battle Pass in English. Fortnite is currently available for Windows, macOS, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
