Has arrived! minecraft dungeons, the newest game in Mojang's popular franchise originally released for Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. This time, instead of betting on building mechanics in an open world as expected, we have a “Spin off” that takes a risk for a new genre, the dungeon crawler. It's almost like a more accessible and age-rated Diablo! Check out my review and find out if Mojang's newest release is worth playing! 🙂

In general, the presentation of Minecraft Dungeons is excellent and, despite the size of the game being very light, all the character models are very well sculpted and consistent with the visual proposal of Mojang's main series. With a lot of creativity, the developer Double Eleven managed to create excellent vibrant environments that catch the eye thanks to the exemplary design of its grand maps, which make good use of color contrasts.
There are several phases that have a different tonality, such as the “Pastos de Abóbora” – in Portuguese, which is all orange and has areas with a more rural theme, while the “Redstone Mines” – in Portuguese, are darker. and have more focused lighting on the lava glow. Minecraft Dungeons is a very interesting game that makes great use of its limited but extremely charming look.
unlike the classic minecraft – which even has a review here on the blog, Minecraft Dungeons has a great story, narrated in a very epic way. In addition, the adventure presents the tale of a villager from the game world who became corrupted and became a great villain who took over everything, releasing hordes of enemies and monsters, such as skeletons or Creepers, all over the world.
Even so, the player controls at all times a hero who is somehow anonymous and whose mission is to stop the advance of evil across the map, facing stages full of enemies with different abilities and difficulties, challenges and small puzzles - mine favorite. Starting with little equipment, your hero can become a true legend by beating opponents and bringing peace back to the Minecraft universe.

In short, the RPG It's quite fun, colorful, varied, the controls work well and it has a great Multiplayer experience. In a way, the traditional mining and building commands, aspects of classic Minecraft, may be lacking, but they are not the purpose of this title.
