The classic and popular game “SimCity” is back to delight all fans of the series, now entirely in Brazilian Portuguese and with new fantastic graphics. The new game from the company Maxis in partnership with EA (Electronic Arts) tries to overcome the various problems or bugs of its predecessor release and rescue the gender prestige It was hugely successful in the 90's.
The game doesn't have a story in itself, but almost always very similar objectives, creating a kind of pre-programmed script of interspersed actions. Among these actions, some stand out for very current concepts, such as sustainable cities, which aim at environmental preservation, guidelines on the level of pollution and an organized way of designing the sewage network are one of the several ecological issues of the game. .
The accelerated way (quick game mode) in which cities are urbanized is also a slight criticism of the game's large urban centers. Just organize your area – residential; business or industrial, so that homes grow quickly, buildings and factories are constructed overnight, something that did not happen at all so quickly in previous titles in the SimCity series.
In the new SimCity, the player has a wide range of strategies to achieve the objectives of ramp up, to evolve and connect your city with your neighbors. If you enjoy challenges, look for a region full of geological faults when choosing a map, such as mountains and small lakes. More if you prefer more ease in the game, a flat terrain will be the best choice.
The main cons of the game is that unfortunately it has a practice of having the need to constant connection with game servers. This measure became popularly known in the game diablo 3, in which the requirement is useful, as your progress will always be stored in the cloud and you will be able to play with your character on any connected PC with the game installed.
However, in the new SimCity the proposed idea did not go very well, to start with the problems involving the game servers. In the first days after the official launch of the game, it was practically impossible to start or save the game, which left millions of players frustrated with the poor service provided by Electronic Arts (EA).
Apart from the problems with the game's servers, another big problem is the broadband limitation from some regions, such as here in Brazil. The result is the loss of connection or slowness in the game's response time, which has numerous elements to be stored, such as changes in scenarios and statistics.
The conclusion that I was able to draw from the new SimCity is that it brought incredible graphics and a high level of realism in the administration of cities, addressing environmental problems, as well as challenges of a large and small scale. The beautiful look is also a strong plus point. And the downside is that, unfortunately, the need to constant internet connection ends up keeping many players away from the game, especially those who do not have quality broadband, especially here in Brazil.

Now, when we talk about strengths, we have some improvements and news to celebrate, realism is one of the main factors praised for this new franchise, another big improvement is the new features added. As in the good and traditional "SimCity 4", Maxis and EA decided to continue the "connection with cities", something that for some reason was "disabled" from SimCity Societies, which greatly disappointed the fans, who chose to continue in SimCity 4.
In Brazil, SimCity 5 (2013) Digital Edition is costing R$ 99.90. It is worth it? Yes, the problem that some users complained about was the “congestion” of the servers, something that I believe EA and Maxis should solve very soon.
