1 – Mediterranean Sky
The Sky Mediterranean was built in 1952 in England and made its last voyage in August 1996, when it departed Brindisi for Patras. In 1997, the bad financial situation of the companies caused him to be abandoned and left in Greece. In 2002, the amount of water caused the ship to begin to tilt, causing officials to land it in shallower water.
2 - SS America
The ocean liner built in 1940 had a long career, until after a strong storm and operational failure, it suffered a shipwreck that left it adrift. Additionally, the ship ran aground off the west coast of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.
Over time, the ship deteriorated intensely and in such a way that, in 2007, the entire structure had collapsed and fallen into the sea. Since then, what little was left has slowly disappeared beneath the waves.

The Dimitrios is a small cargo ship, built in 1950, it was stranded on the beach of Valtaki, in Laconia, Greece, on December 23, 1981. Among many theories, some claim that the Dimitrios smuggled cigarettes between Turkey and Italy, picked up by port authorities, abandoned and then set on fire to hide criminal evidence.
4 – Olympia
The Olympia was a large trading vessel, apparently driven by pirates, who sailed from Cyprus to Greece. After an unsuccessful attempt to withdraw the ship from the gulf, it was abandoned and became famous.
5 - BOS 400
The BOS 400 is a ship stranded in Maori Bay, South Africa, while being pulled by a Russian tugboat on June 26, 1994, the BOS 400 ship was the largest floating crane in Africa when the towing lines broke and hit the rocks in a storm.
6 – La Famille Express
The ship La Famille Expresso sank a long time ago and is currently located between the Turks and Caicos Islands, in the Caribbean Sea. In addition, the ship was originally built in 1952 in Poland, for many years it served the Soviet Navy, but with the name “Fort Shevchenko”. From 1999, it was bought and renamed, remaining in operation until 2004, when it ran aground during Hurricane Frances.
7 - HMAS Protector
The HMAS Protector ship was one of the most symbolic and ancient and the ship was originally purchased in 1884 to defend South Australia from possible attacks. He then served in World War I and II, and in the US Army. Damaged in a collision, it was abandoned and its remains remain visible on Heron Island.

Evangelia is a giant ship that was built by the same shipyard as the Titanic. In addition, the Evangelia was a merchant ship, launched in 1942. On a dense foggy night in 1968, it was grounded as it came too close to shore near Costinesti, Romania. Some theories claim that the incident was intentional, so that the owner would receive the insurance money, since the sea was calm and the equipment was working perfectly.
