How to Move the Windows 11 Start Menu to the Left

Windows 11

Windows 11 has a taskbar with the Start Menu centered, which may be strange for some users who are used to the Start Menu located on the left of the screen. Fortunately, it is possible to change the position of the Start Menu in Windows 11. In this article, we are going to show you how to move the Windows 11 Start Menu to the left.

Windows 11

Step 1: Right-click on the taskbar

To get started, right-click on the Windows 11 taskbar. This will bring up a context menu.

Step 2: Select “Settings”

From the context menu, select the “Settings” option.

Step 3: Access taskbar settings

In the settings window that opens, select the “Taskbar” option in the left side menu.

Step 4: Change the position of the Start Menu

In the “Taskbar Position” section, change the “Start Button Position” option from “Center” to “Left”.

Step 5: Check if the change has taken place

After making this change, the Start Menu should be located to the left of the taskbar. Check that the change was carried out correctly.

Remember that, if you want to go back to the original configuration, just follow the steps above again and select the “Centered” option instead of “Left” in the “Start Button Position” option.
