THE naughty dog took to social media to comment on his absence from the latest PlayStation Showcase. According to the post, the studio will unfortunately need more time to work on its already announced The Last of Us multiplayer.
The Last of Us fans, we know that many of you are eager to learn more about our The Last of Us multiplayer game. We're incredibly proud of the work our studio has done so far, but as development continued, we realized that the best thing for the game was to give it more time.
This isn't the only project currently in development at Naughty Dog. According to the studio, the team is also working on an all-new single-player experience.
Our team will continue to work on the project, as well as our other games in development, including a new single-player experience; we look forward to sharing more soon. We are grateful to our fantastic community for their support, thank you for your passion for our games, it continues to drive us.
So far we don't know what Naughty Dog's single-player game is about, but considering old rumors and the studio claiming to be working on a "whole new experience", it is likely to be a new IP and when the company says that in addition to multiplayer is working on "other games", including the new single-player experience, means there are more than two games currently in development at Naughty Dog.
