Review: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

After Crash Bandicoot was announced at the E3 2016 that the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy would be fully remastered for PlayStation 4, Sony first showed off the Crash Bandicoot HD collection during the first day of the 2016 PlayStation Experience, an annual event held by the company to showcase its main new features, including about the new Crash Bandicoot.

Even the difficulty of the games has not been changed and I think that even with some criticism Activision and Vicarious should never think about changing this aspect of the three games, not even with a patch in the future. Crash Bandicoot 1 is a very difficult game, especially if you like to take everything the game has to offer and seek out all the secrets. Crash Bandicoot 3 it is the easiest, but the most fun due to the diversity of scenarios, larger levels, different gameplay styles, many Easter Eggs and many hours of fun.

Crash Bandicoot 2 it's a middle ground between 1 and 3 (literally), with a medium difficulty. Again, by not modifying the games, especially the first one in favor of the current times where difficult games are not always well accepted, Vicarious Vision gives further proof of its respect and admiration for the original trilogy. I have no doubt that, in addition to being professionals, the guys at the studio are Crash fans, as this is reflected in the work they performed.

Conclusion

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy” is a tribute to good old Crash keeping all that he had best at the time of naughty dog, with a very high dose of challenge and fun, but with important technical aspects so that players of the new generation consoles feel good with three extremely beautiful and well-made games.

Since Activision hasn't been getting the character right in their games, the way out of seeking inspiration and market positioning with the first three games was right and now the future for Crash looks bright!

THE vicarious vision demonstrates that it is ready for a supreme challenge, of creating a new Crash along the lines of the old ones, or even luxuriously remastering the fantastic Crash Team Racing. By the way, I strongly believe that there will be a remastered version of CTR Racing in the coming months or years. You bet! 🙂

Now it's time to enjoy the three games in the N. Sane Trilogy package, which alone will bring many hours of fun and wait to know Activision's future plans for Crash Bandicoot. If you've played the classic games this collection is a must-have, and if you've never gotten your hands on a Crash, now's the best possible time.
