Williem Dafoe played one of Marvel's most iconic villains in theaters, the Green Goblin! But the film acted as an engine to continue the story of the shared universe of superheroes on film and many fans were left wondering when they would see the characters again.
It seems though that it's not just fans who want to know when we'll have a comeback. In a recent interview Willem Dafoe openly said that he wants to play the Spider-Man villain again! Since Earth's Mightiest Heroes movies are adapting the Multiverse Saga comics, it's quite possible.
Everyone involved in Spider-Man: Never Going Home seems to have loved their characters. The actor, for example, also highlighted that he feels joy in playing the character and the depth that this allows him to bring to the role. It would be great to see him return, especially given the possibility that with the Multiverse the character could look different or even not be a villain at all!
