How to Register a Credit Card on the eShop

Step 1: Access your Nintendo Account

To get started, sign in to your Nintendo Account on the official Nintendo website. Enter your username and password and click “Login”.

Step 2: Access payment settings

After logging in to your Nintendo Account, click on your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and select the “Account Settings” option. Then scroll down the page and click on “Add Funds”. This will take you to the payment settings page.

Step 3: Select the credit card option

On the payment settings page, you will have some payment options available like PayPal and prepaid cards. To register a credit card, select the “Credit Card” option and click “Add Credit Card”.

Step 4: Enter credit card details

Now it's time to enter your credit card information. Enter the card number, expiration date and security code (CVV), which is usually on the back of the card. Make sure all information is correct before proceeding.

Step 5: Confirm billing address

After entering your credit card information, Nintendo will ask you to confirm your billing address. Make sure the address is correct and click "Continue".

Step 6: Verify the transaction

Nintendo will now ask you to verify the transaction. If all information is correct, click “Add Funds” to complete the transaction. From this point on, you will be able to use the registered credit card to make purchases on the eShop.
