First, to better contextualize, the game Tomb Raider of the year 2013 brought a new era to Lara Croft, perhaps one of the greatest icons in video games. Furthermore, the reboot of the franchise brought us a new vision of the character. We discovered that heroines like Lara Croft are not born out of nowhere and for nothing. Still, in 2013, we saw Lara as a young and inexperienced woman, but with incredible strength to survive. Did Shadow of the Tomb Raider meet its intended objectives and manage to exceed our expectations as gamers? Find it out!
This entire transformation with Lara Croft was due to the initial reboot, making the new “Shadow of the Tomb Raider” be the end of the trilogy that began. From now on, we see Lara as an experienced woman in every way. Not only is she a more cunning pathfinder, but her physical abilities reach another level. The combat is more brutal and direct, the climbs are more deadly, the tombs are more risky.
This new version records the real moment in which Lara becomes the Lara Croft we have known for a long time. Or almost. On this journey, Lara will discover the city of Paititi, a kind of untouched remnant of the Mayan civilization before its extinction. There, she will encounter some harsh truths from her past, but she will also have to understand the responsibilities tied to her curiosity and her search for justice against the famous Trinity.

Conclusion
In short, "Shadow of the Tomb Raider” is very good, yes, but as it is the conclusion of a trilogy and the moment in which Lara Croft becomes the trailblazer she was destined to be (in Square’s own words), a little more was to be expected from the narrative aspect.
I can say that the gameplay is very consistent, even though it doesn't take very large steps beyond the formula of Rise of the Tomb Raider, in the good old strategy that we already know here on my blog that: “in a team that is winning, you don’t move” – and no problem some in this.
However, it is important to highlight that the game shines much more with its classic tombs and deadly climbs. The more stealthy combat suits the genre and the situation in which Lara finds herself and also works very well with the design of the forest scenes present in the game, in addition to several moments of action and decision-making.
I can say with all conviction that, in “Shadow of the Tomb Raider” there is only a very subtle evolution in several aspects, mainly with regard to new features and differences, but it adds a lot to the experience for the final player. All these aspects that increase the level of challenge combine well with the maturation of the heroine of the saga, even though the story of “Shadow of the Tomb Raider” is not as grandiose as a grandiose Lara Croft definitely deserves.
